Welcome to RemoteDevJobs. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform. By using RemoteDevJobs, you agree to these Terms.

1For Workers

1.1. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a worker profile. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

1.2. Profile and Applications

Your profile must truthfully represent your skills and experience. You agree not to mass-apply to jobs, submit misleading information, or apply to roles you are not reasonably qualified for.

1.3. Content Restrictions

You may not scrape, republish, or misuse any content from the platform, including job listings and other user profiles.

1.4. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breaches of these Terms or legal/compliance risks. Where feasible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. We may suspend immediately to prevent harm or unlawful activity. You can request a review by contacting support.

2For Employers

2.1. Company Profile

You must create a company profile before posting jobs. All company information must be accurate and truthful.

2.2. Job Postings

Job posts must be for legitimate, non-discriminatory employment opportunities. You are responsible for the accuracy of your job listings and compliance with applicable labor and anti-discrimination laws.

2.3. Job Listing Expiration and Renewal

Job listings are active for 30 days from the date of publication. After 30 days, they automatically expire and are removed from public view. Employers can renew an expired listing for another 30-day period by using one of their purchased job tokens. Each renewal consumes one token.

2.4. Data Usage

You may only use candidate data for evaluating job applications. You may not download, scrape, resell, or misuse applicant data outside of the specific job application process.

2.5. Prohibited Actions

You may not engage in automated scraping, reselling of data, posting misleading or illegal job advertisements, or any other activity that violates the spirit of the platform.

2.6. Candidate Data & GDPR Obligations

Employers act as independent data controllers with respect to candidate data. By using the platform, you agree to:

  • Use candidate data only for recruitment purposes related to the specific role.
  • Provide candidates with your own privacy notice and lawful basis for recruitment processing.
  • Delete candidate data within 12 months unless you have obtained the candidate's explicit consent for longer retention.
  • Respect candidates' GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection).
  • Put appropriate safeguards in place for any international data transfers.
  • Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard candidate data and restrict access to authorized recruitment staff only.
  • Notify RemoteDevJobs immediately in case of a data breach involving candidate data obtained via the platform.

Employer as Data Controller

Disclaimer: When you receive candidate data through our platform, you become an independent Data Controller for that data. You are solely responsible for your own compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. RemoteDevJobs is an independent controller for its own processing and does not act as your processor unless we sign a separate agreement. Business users agree to indemnify RemoteDevJobs for claims arising from their unlawful processing of candidate data.

2.7. Payment Terms and Refunds

Payments for job posting tokens or subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Prices, taxes, and any renewal terms are shown at checkout. Refunds are handled in line with Stripe payment terms and any mandatory consumer rights.

3For All Users

3.1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Cookie and marketing preferences are optional and can be managed separately at any time.

3.2. Intellectual Property

The RemoteDevJobs brand, logo, and platform content are our intellectual property. You may not use them without our permission. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your profile or job content solely to operate the platform.

3.3. Platform Role & Liability Disclaimer

RemoteDevJobs is a matching platform, not an employer. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, candidate suitability, or the accuracy of user-generated content. The platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or statutory rights that cannot be waived.

3.4. Indemnity

Business users agree to indemnify and hold harmless RemoteDevJobs from claims, damages, or losses arising out of their misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of law. This indemnity does not apply to consumers.

3.5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, mandatory local consumer protections apply and you may bring claims in your country of residence. For business users, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece.

3.6. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notifications. If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the service and close your account before they take effect.
